The Islamic vision of Paradise (Jannah) for men is overwhelmingly fleshly and sensory, centered heavily around the eternal consumption of physical pleasures, most notably the provision of pristine, perpetual female companions (Houris).
Surah 56:35–37:
Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation and made them virgins, devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age.Surah 55:56:
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni.Surah 44:54:
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
A Continuation of Earthly Appetites:
The eternal reward promised to believing men is an amplification of carnal desires, featuring physical pavilions, untouched companions, and perpetual youth.
A Male-Centric Reward System:
These sensory provisions are meticulously detailed for the pleasure of the male inhabitants, revealing an afterlife tailored to 7th-century earthly desires.
The Biblical Contrast:
Jesus explicitly taught that the resurrection is not a continuation of fleshly, marital consumption. Believers "neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven" (Matthew 22:30). Eternal joy is found in the unhindered presence of God, not in perpetual marital indulgence.
An eternity focused on fleshly harems and sensory consumption appeals to the lower nature of man. The Christian heaven elevates humanity to a spiritual transformation in the glorious, holy presence of the Creator.
